After I eat I often take a quick little walk. If I'm at work, I go up and down the stairs a few times or walk across the property and back. At home I walk around the block (a 10 minute stroll). It FEELS better to settle my food in this way. I don't do it every single time, but I am always glad when I do!
I usually stop eating when I feel full, but often a few minutes later I feel MUCH fuller. Does that make sense? I don't know why, but I have discovered that a tiny bit of post meal exercise really helps.
But the post-meal work out can't be SEX because there is too much gurgling! Thought you should know!

nice to know lol, I have always been told that the brain takes a couple minutes to catch up to the stomach. so you might feel full but you were actually full a couple of bites before that.
I always feel a little fuller after a few minutes too. I think that's part of the reason they tell us to eat slow. Thanks for the walking tip!

haha great tips--I heartily agree with both. I think the feeling fuller thing comes from spit building up on top of whatever food you just ate...As far as the sex goes..more than gurgling..I have had trouble with food reflux (not the acid kind). I figure the vertical body position of walking is better than horizontal after food.

I just need to move more, period. This little tip may be the habit I can get into that will increase my calorie burn!
