Hungry!

This is the third day this week where I have been hungry about every hour or so. What's with that? I usually eat my breakfast (normally Greek yogurt) and lunch (varies - today a Weight Watchers frozen lunch) and am good until dinner. Occasionally I have a snack (cheese stick, apple, etc.) mid afternoon, but normally I am only hungry at meal times.

It makes me wonder if I need a little fill, but I'm kind of afraid to get one because in the last three weeks I've PB'd at least once a week. Last week I could hardly eat on Thursday and Friday. I attributed the tightness to stress and it has gotten better since then. I am really comfortable with where I'm at, fill-wise. I consider myself to be at my sweet spot. But suddenly I am getting hungry every hour or so. That's crazy!

What do you guys think?

That happens to me with hormonal changes. Sometimes, I am just ravenous, Monday & Tuesday I was starving every hour on the hour, today I'm not hungry at all, strange!

PS,
I haven't forgotten about your book, I just haven't been able to get to the post office and I dropped it in the box, but they returned it because you have to go inside with anything over a certain size for security reasons, so when I get to go in person next week I'll send it.

So sorry I am going to miss you. How full are you?

Maybe give it some time, if you stay consistently loose then go for it.

As someone who spent most of the last 3 months too tight...DO NOT FILL! LOL! We obviously get fills over time as we lose internal fat and the band ultimately loosens, but if you're still having some days where you're tight, PBing, etc...you're not ready for another fill quite yet. Being overfilled is not only painful, but your body (mine anyway) starts to HOLD ON to your weight because it's starving for food. You sound like you're doing great!

The thing with sweet spot-S is that when you lose weight your band loosens up. This is especially true (Tina's hypothesis) if you carry your weight in your tummy region. For me my band can loosen and tighten in a cycle (up and down 2-4 pounds can mean the difference between needing a fill or being too tight). I try and schedule my fills when I am on a down swing before i bob back up to the tight place. Alternatively-the tightness goes with hormones. I get really loose two days before my period and then tighten up during. So there can be this complicated window for a fill..or I am VERY careful during my period and hold out for looser days. Two months ago I was very tight then lost 4 pounds got loose, went up 3 then finally went in for a fill and am back down 2 and am on the tight end of sweet. In a couple of weeks I will tighten up with my period. If i manage to take of say..3 more pounds my period will retighten at exactly the right amount to get me down another 2 or 3 and if I get in for a final fill I should be at goal.

This whole do I or don't I need a fill thing, along with inconsistent restriction levels, is by far the worst part of having a band. Wish I had something useful to offer, but I've been in a similar situation. It's scary when you start feeling hungry again, isn't it? Hang in there.

looks like everyone else is giving good advice. I've seen where stress or other things effect the feeling too...so I would agree with waiting it out a few more days at least and see how you feel.

Thanks for your comments and for following!! It's good to find people in such similar places!!
