You're not my fat friends anymore!

Have you noticed how, well, thin we're all getting? I mean, I realize that is the point and all that, but as I look at pix of all of you guys these days, I am continuously struck by the fact that if I passed by many of you on the street these days, I wouldn't think you had "food issues". Which is not to suggest that I walk down the streets judging the fatties, but you know how we all have a tendency to sort of size ourselves up (or maybe that's just me...).

Anyway the point is that I've been following many of you since the first of the year and in that time you've lost a bunch of weight! So much that you're not instantly identified as someone with a weight problem. I can't think of ANYONE who has been at this all that time who isn't a lot thinner!

But I can think of a few bloggers who aren't blogging anymore. I can't say for sure that they aren't continuing to lose weight. I hope they are! But I am pretty sure it is not a coincidence that those who post regularly continue to lose weight. So I guess what I'm saying is, BLOGGING MAKES YOU SKINNY!

You heard it hear first!

i wonder how many calories blogging burns? lol

Well...I just calculated that I burn 42 calories an hour typing - guess I need some longer blog posts! LOL

What a wonderful theory! Trying on clothes burns calories too!

I have noticed that phenomena too but I think that not doing so-well bandwise might have something to do with not blogging. I tend to wait for something to happen and when nothing is happening I don't post.

When I see good stuff happening on the scale or at least get to try on new clothes or do exciting things because I feel better I go and post.

I guess its a chicken egg argument. :) I do however think that developing our online friendships has contributed a huge amount to keeping me going through all of the ups and downs with this band.

I absolutely agree with you my skinny friend. Like what ever happened to Julie? From Ireland? She was getting married and I don't think she has been around.

I try to post a few times a week but I am always commenting and lurking...does that count? I think I am boring most of the time and thats why I don't always post!

I agree with Jacquie.. Unfortunately, I get in to the rut that I feel like what I have to say is boring so I prefer to comment more than blog, but I will make a conscious effort.

It SO TOTALLY does!

It does- I do wonder about people who have "disappeared" and hope they aren't struggling. I always say that blogging made a more successful bandster.

Well guess that means I need to blog everyday! :) I think alot of it has to do with the support and feedback we get from everyone that follows and read our posts.

Hi Amanda! Thanks for the comment you left on my blog. SInce I'm not on Blogger, you can't subscribe to my blog with the click of a button. It's still pretty easy to follow me, though; I wrote a tutorial with instructions a while ago.

I haven't had a chance to read your blog yet, but I'm looking forward to doing so!
