I have writer's block

Seriously!  I have been a bad blog writer!  I think about things I want to say, but I am overwhelmed by trying to explain them.  I feel like it would be too complicated to say what's going on so I say nothing.  And more time passes and it becomes more and more difficult to recount.

Now you probably think some major thing has occurred.  It hasn't really.  Just life.  Some things are changing and I think it will be good.  Right now it is scary.

I ate like DOG SHIT yesterday.  I had about a million tiny miniature butterfinger candy bars.  I was stressed out and it seemed like a good idea at the time.  I'm back on track today.  One thing I've learned in this process is that if I make a bad choice one day, it doesn't mean I have to keep doing it.  Sometimes we have bad days.  That's life.

I also feel like all I do in my blog is complain.  And some people who used to comment on my posts never comment anymore.  I take it personally, like they don't like me anymore.  Neurotic much?

I weighed yesterday and was at the high number of my normal two pound goal range.  I hate that.  It was also TOM.  Stupid bastard.

I seriously have no food in my house.  I don't know what to make for dinner.  My daughter has a friend coming over who has never spent the night before.  I assume she'll expect a meal of some sort.

I hope all is well for you and yours.  I hope I get over my writer's block and can get back to regular posting.

The one who got away is on vacation in Mexico.  I hate facebook.

I know what you mean. I hate a few topics floating in my head but I can't seem to spit them out. SO because of my silence people probably think I'm gaining weight or stalled (I've lost actually). :) But I'm here, and yes I'm reading you so if I haven't commented please don't take it personal. I still adore you. Hope whatever you're going through isn't too TOO scary. Love and hugs.

I hope you do start blogging more, we miss ya! And I know what you mean, seems like no one wants to take the time to comment anymore... everyone just reads and goes onto the next post. Boo. (Myself included at times!) We're all in a perpetual state of getting-caught-up-ed-ness.

Hope ya found something to make for dinner!

I know, I miss the comments when I don't get them. In my case the people who used to comment regularly are themselves blogging less. And I don't blog much about weight issues and the lapband because I haven't much to say, and I dread the thought of being boring. I'm grateful the band is there because it stops the excesses, but I sabotage it with high calorie milk drinks because I get fed up of PBing on the healthy stuff I try to eat.

I have your blog on my favourites bar and when I see you've posted I think "Ooh, I wonder what Amanda's up to", and I always read what you have to say. It it's about good and bad eating days and going up or down a pound or two, I'm interested (I'm always interested in what you write, and block or not, you still write well!), but I'm not prompted to comment because I've nothing much to add. However when you comment about your life, even indirectly, then I find myself wanting to say something.

It happens on my blog too - when I blog about myself, or I post a story about me or my relationships with my family, I get far more comments. I understand that's the way it goes, but my need to write is stronger, so I don't let myself be put off by it - I just keep looking at the figures of how many people visit the blog. Do you do that?

Anyway missus, you keep writing, because there's lots of us out there who want to read you. Bugger the block!!

I'm still reading and have slacked on commenting so don't take it personally. My work blocks all blogs so I can only use Google Reader. Keep up your spirits. We have the Band Superstars blog resurrected now so hopefully it can give you some inspiration for writing. Keep the faith.

I haven't been on here much lately. But I will make a point to comment on each blog I read just so the writers don't feel the way you are feeling. I feel that way too when I don't get comments. I hope everything works out and you get out of your writers block. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

The one who got away.. is that my flakey friend!?!?! Did she go to Mexico??? I'm gonna kick her butt for not taking me! okay.. that's the only venting I needed to do. lol I am fairly certain the friend will be expecting some form of nourishment on an overnight stay. lol. I hope you manage to find something for a meal.

I'm so sorry that things are stressful and hard right now. Big <> sent your way. I'm sure it's hard and frustrating to see that higher number on the scale. But, stress and TOM have that effect. Take a deep breath and give me a call if you need to vent or chat, okay?

Btw, I always read your posts. I don't always comment, but will attempt to remedy that. Love ya hon!

Well, I adore you and try to always comment. Sometimes I may miss posts though.

We do miss you too. Don't worry about venting either, we all do it. That's what we're here for is to offer supportive ears (eyes??) when you need them.

Sometimes I just write random thoughts on paper. I have notebooks all over the place that i can pick up and write in when something pops in my head. Occasionally it turns into something worth writing, frequently it doesn't.

I go days, or even months without writing anything in my blog. For many different reasons. Just remember why you do it. It's not for others, at least mine isn't. It's for me. And if I don't have anything to write, I don't write anything. Other times it seems to flow out of me like water from a melting glacier.

Please don't take the non commenting thing personally. I know that for me, with work and everything else going on, I've been just trying to keep up with reading and commenting hasn't been my strong suit. Know we are still here with you and that being neurotic is one of my stronger suits!! I like that in you, but I'm still here :)

Ask and ye shall receive, right? I think what people forget about blogging is that it's not just about the topic you pick when you start yoru blog. Your followers get to know you, your life and your family...regardless of how "anonymous" a blog may be. And most blogger are like me (I think) in that we like reading about just about anything...weight related or not.

I also have an issue with the location where I almost always read blogs not allowing me to comment, but I have read every single one of your posts since I started following your blog. I think they are all great. Even if you do complain (and I haven't noticed you doing so excessively), sometimes we all have slumps/times when we need to vent. As far as interesting info, that last note about the one that got away is VERY interesting! Have you written about him before? If so, that may have been before I started reading your blog. If you ever feel like you don't have something to say, I'd be all ears (well, eyes) in reading about that. I love to hear about all matters romance...and probably a lot of other followers do too. But if that is uncomfortable (understandably), I agree with the others that what you are writing about now (your life) is great to read.
