Ah, mushies...

I am sitting here eating my vegetarian re-fried beans with a sprinkle of melted cheese and a dollop of sour cream like a good Bandster who just got a fill.  So yummy!  Definitely my favorite mushy meal!

I think I sort of forgot I had a Lap-band which probably tells you how little restriction that I had.  Sitting here eating my lunch slowly, I am feeling like a Lap-band patient for the first time in a while.

I am almost embarrassed to confess that I only had .25 ccs in my 4 cc band.  Now I have 1 cc.  I've had as much as 2.7 ccs before, but I had issues with reflux at that level.  I'm a total fill light-weight, but I can honestly say that regardless of how much fill I have in my band, I still feel some restriction and it still helps me at least a little bit in this battle.  So I hoping this level gives me what I need and doesn't give me what I don't need (reflux).

And that's the skinny!

That mushy meal actually sounds really good - might have to try that after my next fill! If I ever get another one... lol

Hope this does the trick for ya. :)

man..refried beans kill me. I like them but they are hard for me to eat. It is almost like they go down and clog my opening :)

I hope your little (seems kind of big really)...gets you on the track you want.

xxxooo

Yay for a tiny fill - hope it gets you where you want to be, and sayin' adios to those pesky 7 lbs!

Amanda, you must try this easy recipe for [not refried] beans...so easy in the crock pot, and delish! I do cut back on the salt (reduce to 3 tsp) and the pepper (ubless you like peppery beans like Rubios)

I am working my way back up the fill ladder too (slowly due to reflux issues as well...although mine were triggered by taking doxycycline, which is super hard on the stomach according to my doctor; my issues started in full force--with horrible, horrible reflux immediately after a couple days of pill consumption but after over two years of no reflux issues. I hope my issues won't preclude me from getting where I need to be). Good luck finding the right balance!
