What a cool thing it is to see the same number on the scale from week to week! Now that I'm in maintenance, I do not track my food or log my food so I consider it a victory to get on the scale and see that I am holding steady without putting a huge amount of effort into it. I feel as if I am largely free from the food and weight issues that have plagued me most of my life.
My aunt had lap-band surgery last Wednesday. Her husband had gastric bypass a few years ago and he looks great. I'm glad that she is now able to take this important step toward improving her own health!
I hope you're all doing wonderful. My job is NUTS this time of year so I'm not blogging much, but I'll try to start catching up soon!
Amanda, you are living my dream!! This is absolutely awesome, and it was the one thing that I wanted more than anything when I decided to get banded. To be free from the obsession...what a concept! Glad to hear you're doing so well!
