Seriously?!?! POINT EIGHT?!?!!

I'm down .8 (.4 kg.) for the week.  Seriously.  I couldn't eat for 3 1/2 days.  I vomited more times than I can remember.  I starved, suffered, cursed my horrible luck and lost....POINT EIGHT OF A FUCKING POUND.

So.Not.Fair.

The only thought that got me through the stupid ordeal was at least I'd have a decent weigh in.  At least I'd finally be out of the 170's (77-81 kg.), the decade where weight loss has apparently gone to die.  I've been there for four months.  I was 1.4 lbs. (.6 kg.) away from the 160's.  With my BIG loss this week, I'm still .8 lbs. from the 160's.  NOT.FUCKING.FAIR!!!!

  7. It's your body being a butthead. Don't take it personally. Relax. Stay focused and eating back-to-normal this week (sans vomiting and not being able to eat) and you'll lose just great next week.

  8. your body is probally holding onto whatever food it can get right now after just liquids and throwing up and everything it went through.
    I'm sorry you didn't see a bigger loss though.

  9. I'm sorry friend! Next week hopefully the numbers will be there. Perhaps with you being sick and not getting much/vomiting on top of that, your body was just hanging on. ~hugs

  10. That certainly sucks BUT don't despair, it may very well be a delayed reaction and you will see a bigger loss than expected next week!

  14. I have had the same experience whenever I've been too tight/couldn't eat - it's like my body holds on to the weight! It's so frustrating, if you're suffering you at least hope to lose a decent amount of weight! I feel your pain :/

  15. :( I agree with the others that you'll probably see a delayed loss from this. Your body is probably hanging on to fluids and such as a reaction and once it realizes it doesn't have to, it'll let go of the extra. How frustrating, though!!

  17. Nearly there.... I know it's no consolation prize but 160 is just around the corner.

    I think maybe your body was absorbing everything it could because of the said lack of eating :(

  19. #1- you'll get there. I know, not what you want to hear right now, and maybe not the best thing to say ever- but it's true Amanda! YOU WILL GET THERE!!! And it will be bliss when you do.

    #2- Starving never works. I know you didn't do it on purpose- but obviously here is the damn reminder for us. I've tried it a time or two myself- never works. Fuhhhhh. Sorry to hear it didn't work this time either.
